I worked with Daniel, a talented young weaver, to produce a limited range of baby blankets in a variety of colourways using my Yorkshire-spun yarn and a small amount of British lambswool to add a colour element.  Each blanket was individually hand woven on vintage looms in the East End of London.  They are all reversible and so you benefit from the option of having one side in a subtle colour design or the reverse side which is more colourful.  No two blankets are the same and so your child will have a gift to treasure for years to come.  They are designed to be used in the buggy or cot but can equally grace the foot of the bed or become a little throw for those snuggly moments with Mummy.

After shearing in May I contact our duvet manufacturers in Yorkshire to arrange collection of our natural alpaca fibre straight from the farm.  They then transform the fibre that is not suitable for yarn production into the softest and most comfortable little alpaca cot duvets of the highest quality.  Being made from a breathable and lightweight fibre, the duvets allow the body to maintain a perfect temperature throughout the year.  The outer cover is made from organic cotton and so no harmful chemicals or dyes are used in the manufacturing process.  Each duvet is then bagged in a cotton drawstring bag and tied with purple string, making it an ideal gift for a new baby.
