Proudly Made In Great Britain
Alpacas bred and raised on our farm produce fabulous fibre which I use in my manufacturing. I enjoy and care passionately for our alpacas but it is important to me that they also fulfil a useful and productive purpose.
Intrigued by these inquisitive and endearing animals, I started to breed alpacas a few years ago and, greatly encouraged by our showing success, I began to research and develop uses for our fleeces. Yarn produced from alpaca fleece is strong, hypoallergenic, warm, durable and luxuriously soft.
I wanted to use the fibre produced by my own herd to make a limited edition range of the softest, most luxurious clothes and accessories imaginable for babies and small children. Since I feel passionately about the need to rekindle our love of all things British, it was important to me that the production process should be carried out here too. My journey to discover skilled manufacturers committed to making high-end products has taken me all over Britain and I am proud of the British teams with whom I am now working
.
My little sweaters, hats and jackets are modelled on vintage patterns from the 1940s–1960s, offering simple yet stylish designs and, above all, comfort to the wearer. They are made with care and true attention to detail and quality. Slight colour variations in the yarn are to be expected and are due to its natural properties – the imperfections are our perfection!. The end result is a gorgeous product that discerning parents, grandparents or friends will be pleased to buy. I know each one of them will be loved by its lucky recipient.
